ランズ と「バンデイジ」のニュース + 亀の新ドラマ

Taking a short break from my revision, went to check out some KAT-TUN news and here is what I have found:

  • LANDS "first and last album", Olympos to be released on 2010-01-13
  • BANDAGE official photobook to be released on 2010-01-07. (Source: luvjin)
  • BANDAGE single 1st week sales figure hits 211,000.
  • Kamenashi Kazuya in a new manga-adapted drama ヤマトナデシコ七変化 starting 15 Jan 2010, 10pm~11pm Japan time, TBS.
  • And not forgetting, Akanishi's 1st solo live, 「友&仁」 as I had mentioned here.

Woots! Lotsa Jin in 2010 and more magazine features of him following the BANDAGE movie and his solo live. LANDS album, BANDAGE photobook, solo live, what more can a fangirl ask for. My excitement is beyond description but at the same time, my wallet suffers T__T ま, as long as Jin is given opportunities, I am not going to complain ^^

Johnny-san, look at BANDAGE sales figure for the 1st week. This is the power of Akanishi Jin and his fans. This is the result, the product of his hard work and our loyal support. Fans like us don't support him for nothing. So please do not dismiss him due to whatever rumours. Give Jin some work and he will show you what he is capable of. That's our Akanishi Jin.

Akanishi-sama, omedetou gozaimasu!! ☆おめでとう☆
Kobayashi-san and Iwai-san, thanks so much for choosing Jin for your movie.

Kame in a new drama! Great! Kame's acting is always lovely and to be honest, better than Jin. I will be catching it on KeyHole and hopefully the system will not disappoint me too much. Gonna check out the manga too.

This new drama spells the possibility of a new KAT-TUN single to wrap up 2009. *hopeful*

Gokusen + A weird and incoherent dream

mobile phone camera shots of the poster taken at GV Vivo..
oOo! Kame closeup ♥ ♥

Went to watch Gokusen movie last Friday. The storyline is somewhat predictable since I have already watched the drama series but the main purpose of watching the movie is to see KAME on BIG SCREEN. The feeling is indeed totally different as compared to seeing Kame behind my laptop's tiny screen. I got so excited when Odagiri first appeared as a student teacher in his grey suit as featured in the poster. His face projected onto the screen was SO BIG that it made my heart skip a beat. On the 2nd day, Odagiri appeared in a V-neck white shirt with black jacket, black pants and boots, an attire which I love best and suits Odagiri best IMO. Seriously, if ever I have such a hot sensei teach me Math, I would be the happiest student on earth and I will probably be paying 100% attention to the sensei intead of his lectures, scoring zero for all tests XDDDD

The sound effects and Yankumi's usual words made the whole theatre laugh. They reminded me of the drama series. I don't know why but I felt those parts were so funny despite having seen them many times before.

Then towards the end, Odagiri was hit by a metal rod on the head. *Ouch* I could feel the pain at that instant and even now, as if my own head was being hit instead. I almost wanted to skin that bodyguard alive for hitting Odagiri sensei and I was quite sure there were some fangirls who felt the same way too. *Ouch* I wonder if Kame was really hit or it was merely some camera tricks.

Gokusen drama's Noda (Narimiya Hiroki), Uchi (Oguri Shun) and Minami (Ishigaki Yuma) cameoed in the movie for a few seconds. For that few seconds, the tension of the whole theatre went up. I could hear some fangirls, including myself, scream when they appeared. Ahh, I got all excited seeing Oguri Shun and Narimiya Hiroki on big screen but was rather disappointed that Hayato (Jin!) and Shin (MatsuJun) did not appear. Ma, there were already quite a few JE idols (Kame, Takaki Yuya from HSJ and some Kansai Juniors) in the movie so Johnny probably wouldn't allow more big JE names like Akanishi Jin and Matsumoto Jun to appear, with Kamenashi Kazuya already taken the role of the male lead. Then again, the scream might be louder if there were Shin and Hayato. Mine would most probably be among the louder ones. LOL!

*~~*~~*

I had a weird dream last night, so weird that I woke up all of the sudden stunned. I dreamt about Kame. Having an idol appear in your dream is normal but here is the weird part..

I dreamt that Kame is my good buddy. We are so close that we definitely won't fall for each other. Moreover I treat him like an elder brother (cos he is 6 months and 21 days older than me). Once he was sick and I went to visit him at his place. Somehow there was no language barrier between us. Don't ask me why, I have no idea too..

Kame: Stay here tonight, like what you did last time. How about that, buddy?
Me: Huh? Oh ok.
Kame: Last night when you weren't here, there was a burglar.
Me: Huh? Then are you ok? Not hurt yeah?
Kame: Yeah I'm alright.
Me: Ok you go sleep now, I'll stay up.

A moment later, a burglar came. I saw him and hid behind the wall so that he could not see me, thinking about what to do. I knew I should call the police but I don't know why I didn't. I just shouted out. Kame was still sound asleep.

End of dream. I jerked out of bed and for a while, suffered from the aftershock of this dream, which was totally incoherent. I can't see any link between the events. Even now, I still cannot understand this dream. Anyway, dreams aren't meant to be understood since they are made up of events when a person is in his subconscious state of mind and so the events can have no coherence at all. Well, it's just a dream.

How I wish this isn't a dream and that Kame and I can really be very good friends.. just friends.

After my exams, I'll read up Kame's magazine interviews to know more about him. Don't know why but I suddenly want to understand more about this idol of mine...

Eternal - PIN

This song was a special medley performed by Yamapi and Jin (=PIN) during Yamapi's concert. A sweet ballad composed by Jin himself for one of his friend's wedding and this is the first time he performed it. (Lyrics here. Credits to maishampoo@LJ.)

Sweet and lovely! I am so touched by the wonderful lyrics and that these came out of Akanishi Jin! It would be so lovely if someone could sing it during my wedding. Ahh, so romantic. I hope this song can be recorded sometime.

This is the first time I have heard a PIN performance and I totally love it. It is heartwarming to see the 2 buddies perform together. The PIN moments are always

While watching HEY!HEY!HEY! just now, I was expecting Jin to introduce takuan with rayu (pickled radish with chilli oil) and indeed he did so! He introduced it twice on TV, the first time in CTKT and the 2nd in HEY!HEY!HEY!, both of which got negative responses from the others. I nearly laughed my lungs out. So Jin likes to eat rayu takuan.. Hmm.. Doesn't look appetising but I would like to try it one day ^o^

Recently, we have been hearing so much about Jin, so much that I am always drifted off to 'Jinland' without realising. What's more, CDJapan is so kind to me, allowing me to receive my BANDAGE CD and ARASHI's All the Best! Clips today! I am going to rip BANDAGE and put it into my MP3 player.

I am a happy girl now ^^

I just read a piece of news which kept my jaws wide opened for a few seconds. Not a shocking but a surprising news.

Akanishi will be having his FIRST SOLO LIVE, 「友&仁」 (You & Jin), during the month of February 2010 at Nissay Theatre! A total of 32 performances!

Johnny san is FINALLY willing to give Jin a solo live, after neglecting him ever since Yukan Club in 2007. Well, he wasn't exactly neglected but it had been a long wait until BANDAGE and now a SOLO LIVE! In fact, he had been given reasonable amount of 'limelight' this year - AnAn, BANDAGE promotion and all the magazine interviews. With this, my expectation of him goes up a notch and I hope that he can deliver a live performance which can convince everyone that he deserves all these chances for solo projects. Good luck Jin, I will always support you from megamiles away.

*~~*~~*

The recent ViVi interview with Jin seemed to imply that he currently has a girlfriend. Not too sure though cos it may be misinterpreted.

Anyway, omedetou ^^

If you were to ask whether I will cry over it, ABSOLUTELY NO!! Haha, it is high time Jin should get a gf but he needs to be really careful with JE, the media and maybe some crazy Japanese fans. Ne ~

Jin told all of us to "take care of our health since now is the season in which people catch flu easily" in his latest entry in J-WEB KAT-TUN's manual. (Source & credits: luvjin)

That is very sweet of Jin. While reminding us to take care, he himself is always the one who gets sick easily these days.

*Sigh* Jin, please take care of your health...

Anyway, shortly after YK told me to take care of myself while he will be away until after Christmas, and that sweet reminder from Jin, I caught the darn flu bug and kept sneezing thoughout the lecture today. My nose is very painful now as a result. *Sigh*

*~~*~~*

BTR Live DVD will not feature any of the member's corner!! A huge disapointment. I was hoping that all the members' corners will be included in the DVD. If not all then at least Jin's corner so that it can remind me of the concert I went to.

Yes, the June 14th concert that I went to was coincidentally the one with Jin's corner. Can you imagine how excited I was when I heard Murasaki? Jin was there "bullying" Maru by not allowing him to sing. I miss that scene so much. I will never forget how lucky I was ^^v

Well, if not Jin's corner, Junno's corner will do cos I have been wanting to see KAT-TUN perform Seiten no Hekireki once again. I love that song. Seriously I would love it if they include just any one member's corner. BUT THEY DIDN'T!!!

*sniff sniff.. needs lotsa tissue papers*

Anyway, I still pre-ordered that DVD cos it includes some backstage footages. I would love to see how KAT-TUN planned these awesome Tokyo Dome concerts. The DVD will only arrive around end of December.

Waiting to see KAT-TUN live again... behind the (TV/PC) screen.

SPEEDLAND The Premium Best Re Tracks

Just as I was complaining about the late arrival of my SPEEDLAND CD in the previous entry, I reached home today to see a parcel on my table. Yes, SPEEDLAND has arrived!!

A bit about how I have come to like SPEED. I was introduced to White Love and All My True Love way back when I was still a primary school kid and I immediately fell in love with these 2 songs. Then, there was a period of time when SPEED suddenly 'disappeared' from the J-POP scene and I lost track of their songs since then.

SPEED returned to the J-POP scene last year and released 2 singles, Ashita no Sora and S.P.D., as well as the SPEEDLAND album, which stores 14 songs from their hit singles from their debut single Body & Soul to Ashita no Sora. From the name of the album, it is rather obvious that they re-recorded the songs altogether instead of merely copying the tracks from the original singles. And indeed there are distinct differences between both - the girls' vocals have matured over the years and the music arrangements for most of the songs are quite different from that of the original. SPEED during their teenage years vs SPEED in their 20s, obviously the vocals will change, でしょう ~.

I bought the limited edition of this album (HK version -> a lot cheaper!). It comes with a DVD of the PVs of Wake Me Up!, Nettaiya and Ashita no Sora, and some footage of the making. The PVs for Wake Me Up! and Nettaiya are re-made from the original ones. I went to check out the original PVs and found that the 'new' ones are more elegant and showed how much SPEED had grown up.

I love this album a lot, mainly because it rekindles my long lost love for SPEED.
